Throughout 2019, Boogie maintained a high profile, appearing on a string of singles from other artists, including Ally Brooke’s “Lips Don’t Lie” and Khalid’s “Right Back,” while releasing his own singles such as “Mood Swings” and “Reply””.

In February 2020, Artist 2.0, the third album by the artist, debuted at number two on the Billboard charts in its first week. The album featured several famous guest artists such as Young Thug, DaBaby, and Lil Uzi Vert. The rapper released the EP B4 AVA in December 2021 while listeners awaited the arrival of his fourth studio album, A Boogie vs. Artist.The seven-song project reached a high position of 26 on the charts and featured Lil Durk on the track “24 Hours.” The artist’s fourth studio album, titled Me vs. Myself, was released about a year after the previous album,with its original November 2022 release date was postponed by a month to avoid competition with the Drake/21 Savage collaborative album Her Loss which was being released around the same time.
