A. J. Langer is a former American actress renowned for her roles as Caroline Larkin in the second season of “Baywatch” and as Rayanne Graff in the popular TV series “My So-Called Life.”

At the age of five, Allison Joy Langer and her family relocated to the San Fernando Valley. When she was eight years old, she joined a baseball team that was mostly made up of boys. Because her baseball teammates thought “Allison” was too girly, they began calling her “A.J.” Allison also has a big brother named Kirk.

A. J. Langer had roles in various TV shows before she became famous as Rayanne Graff on “My So-Called Life.” She also acted in shows like “The Wonder Years,” “Baywatch,” “Drexell’s Class,” “It’s Like, You Know…,” “Three Sisters,” and “Eyes.” In movies, she was in “Escape From L.A.” and “The People Under the Stairs,” directed by John Carpenter and Wes Craven, respectively.

In 2011, A. J. Langer returned to acting after a break of six years. She was in 14 episodes of “Private Practice” as Erica Warner. But in 2012, her character died, and she left the show.

Personal life

A. J. Langer got married in 2004 to Charles Courtenay, who is a lawyer. He is the son of Hugh Courtenay, who was the 18th Earl of Devon. They first had a simple legal wedding, and then they had a big and fancy wedding on April 30, 2005, in Los Angeles, California.

At first, people called her Lady Courtenay because of her husband’s family. But when her husband’s father passed away, and her husband became the 19th Earl of Devon, she became the Countess of Devon. In January 2014, A. J. Langer and her husband took their family to London. Then, in May 2015, they made their home at Powderham Castle, which is their family’s old and important house.

A. J. Langer and her husband have two kids. Their daughter is named Lady Joscelyn Skye Courtenay, and their son is called Jack Haydon Langer Courtenay. He’s also known as Lord Courtenay.

In her spare time, A. J. Langer works to tell people about and gather money for the study and care of fibromyalgia. She knows about this condition because she experienced it herself.
